The TranzAlpine from Christchurch

The TranzAlpine train runs between Christchurch and Greymouth, across the Canterbury Plains and over the Southern Alps through Arthur's Pass. It leaves Christchurch in the morning, so many travellers stay in the city the night before.

The Christchurch railway station

  • The station is on Troup Drive in Addington, about 10 minutes by car from our motel.
  • Reception can book a SuperShuttle to the station for you, about $30. SuperShuttle sets the price, so ask us for the current price.
