Opening hours

These are the hours on the Riverside Market website when we checked in October 2026:

• Monday to Wednesday: 7.30am to 8pm
• Thursday to Saturday: 7.30am to 9pm
• Sunday: 7.30am to 8pm

The doors open at 7.30am and every trader is open by 10am. The eateries, bars and restaurants stay open late. Hours can be different for each stall, and they change over Christmas and New Year. Check the hours on the Riverside Market website.

The farmers market

A farmers market is held beside the river on the last Sunday of every month. Look for fresh vegetables, bread, cheese, free-range meat, seafood and locally made goods.

It is about a 16-minute walk from us, so you can leave your car in our free car park.

Tips

• Breakfast or lunch: come after 10am, when every trader is open.
• Dinner: the eateries and bars stay open late, especially from Thursday to Saturday, when the market is open until 9pm.
• Cook in your room: every room at our motel has a kitchenette, so you can take fresh food back and cook.
