It is a 7-minute walk, about 600 m straight down Colombo Street to the Colombo Street side of Te Pae. The main entrance on Oxford Terrace is a few minutes further.

- From the airport: a 15 to 20-minute drive. Bus 29 also runs from the airport to the city. See Christchurch Airport to the city.
- Drop-off: in front of the main entrance on Oxford Terrace. The main entrance and public areas are step-free.
